Redhill and Reigate Food Group is a community based buying group, made up of members who want to source food that has been produced as close to our homes as possible.  Working together we make buying local food attainable for all while still providing a fair price to the producer.

We hope the information in this website explains our aims and how we work and we really hope you want to get involved, if so contact us.

The steady and relentless erosion of the idea that food is something that grows near where you live, by someone you have some kind of relationship with, and that you actually cook yourself began after the Second World War and accelerated during the 1960s and 1970s.
